Principal Accountabilities
•Familiarity with the supported applications, which use a variety of technologies, and provide support for them on a daily basis.  This support will include, but may not be limited to, reviewing problems reported, prioritizing and researching these problems, determining the solutions, and resolving them.  
•Document processes and procedures required for support. 
•Learn new applications and functionality as required. 
•Opportunities available to participate in special projects, usually involving implementation of a new tool or application. 
•Participation in the oncall rotation is required.  This entails being oncall every 4 weeks.

Competencies / Qualifications
•JAVA expertise 
•Knowledge of PL/SQL, 9i / 10g preferred 
•Working knowledge of UNIX commands and basic shell scripting

Preferred Skills
•Knowledge of Perl 
•Knowledge of Struts 
•Knowledge of WebSphere 
•Knowledge of VB 
•Experience with source control 
•SQL Navigator skills helpful 
•Knowledge of CA suite of tools helpful 
•Financial services and / or credit card processing experience a plus
