One of Atlanta’s fastest growing healthcare companies is looking for a motivated and highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join its software development team on a full-time basis.

 

The position is for a Senior Java/J2EE Developer who will work in a team environment to build the next generation of hospital logistics software. Strong analysis and communication skills are required. The primary technologies used on the job include Java, Servlet, JSP, Ajax, JMS, Spring, Web Services, and Oralce. 

 

The responsibilities of this position include:

-       Design and develop application modules using Java/J2EE/Ajax/Web Services

-       Write unit test cases and assist QA manager with function tests

-       Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot and maintain existing application modules

-       Lead code review sessions to ensure high code quality

-       Document technical designs using UML 

-       Mentor junior developers on the team

 

Required Skills:

-       5+ years of server-side Java development experience

-       Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming methodology

-       Knowledge of design patterns

-       Middleware / N-Tier architectures

-       Multi-Threading 

-       Distributed High Availability Software

-       Open Source

-       UML

-       JUnit

-       Servlet/JSP
