Software Testing Engineer
This is a perm job and pays up to 70K annually.  No third party or corp to corp candidates will be considered.
The duties will focus on creating test plans, setting up test environments, developing automated tests including acceptance tests, executing and maintaining automated test suites, and the analysis of the results.  There is also an element of customer interaction providing this position with the opportunity to directly interface with the end-users of our client’s software. Qualifications
•	Strong problem solving and resolution skills. 
•	Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
•	BS/MS in Computer Science or related or equivalent work experience. 
•	Solid software testing theory and methodologies. 

Required Skills
•	Coding skills in one of the following 3GL languages: C++, Java, or C# 
•	Able to be self directed in investigation of system configuration issues, documentation and resolution of those issues. 
•	Able to write test harness forms and setup debugging for root cause analysis in underlying systems under test. 

Desired Skills
•	Knowledge of Internet/Web technologies, such as web browsers, http, and html. 
•	Testing software in a distributed networking environment. 
•	Testing large scale enterprise products. 
•	Relational Databases or programming in SQL. 
•	Testing ETL and data warehouse applications. 
•	Security testing includes knowledge of regulatory security requirements. 
•	Internationalization and Localization Testing. 
•	Test automation, load test and performance monitoring tools, including Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, Network Monitor, etc. 
•	Good scripting skills in at least one common scripting language (Perl, Python, Shell, VBscript). 
•	Knowledge and experience with agile methods and techniques. 
•	Knowledge and experience with operating systems including Windows Server, OS/X, or Linux.
