Sr. Java Developer – Server Applications (multiple openings)



We are currently searching for a Java Software Engineer to develop server applications supporting our mobile applications and solutions with a focus on developing Web Services API. This role will join an established development team while working in concert with QA and support teams.

The Java Engineer works as an experienced Engineer in product or technology program in SW / HW / System Design / Design Verification or Integration. Works under general direction and interprets internal/external business issues and recommended best practice in own discipline.

Responsibilities
The Java Software Engineer - Performs and/or coordinates day-to-day activities to meet departmental/project objectives. Carries out root/cause analysis in more complex problems. Carries out variety of complex activities according to plan within broader area of responsibility, analyses problems. Decision making typically according to established solutions.


Job Restrictions:
----------------

Requirements 
•	3 - 5 years of development experience
•	3 years experience in Java
•	1 - 2 years experience with Web Services (JAX-WS, SOAP)
•	Java development experience on a UNIX platform
•	Communication server development experience is plus
•	C++ development experience is a plus
•	Experience implementing a communications server (not just a web application) a plus
