As a member of the IT User Interface Engineering team the engineer will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.  Candidate must be able to:
•	Create and maintain dynamic user interface templates for multiple applications
•	Actively partner with project team members in identifying usability issues and make resolution recommendations  
•	Stay current with web standards, application architectures, and deployment techniques.  
•	Work effectively in a very fluid, high-communication, product delivery centric environment.  
•	Work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects or requests.  

JOB DUTIES:
•	Develop new or maintain existing programs based on specifications
•	Develop, implement and maintain unit tests of programs
•	Participate in requirements gathering and definition
•	Participate in testing for the assigned application(s), functional area(s) or project(s)
•	Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the assigned application(s), functional area(s) or project(s)
•	Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the assigned application(s), functional area(s) or project(s)
•	Share knowledge by effectively documenting work and code
•	Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and taking responsibility for seeing those issues through to resolution.
•	Work with Project Managers to understand business objectives and provide technical assessments, UI recommendations, risk analysis, and accurate development estimates.  
•	Use insight, creativity, and research to suggest and/or implement new interfaces, design alternatives and usability improvements that increase the value of the product.
•	Mentor less experienced User Interface Engineers

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•	Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
•	3-6 years professional experience developing dynamic web pages for high-volume, multi-tier architecture based applications.
•	Basic project management skills to track all project work.  
•	Exceptional customer service attitude and interpersonal skills.
Good working knowledge of: 

HTML/XHTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript/DOM Scripting, AJAX, JSP, SQL, XML, IDE (Eclipse, NetBeans, IntelliJ IDEA, etc.), CVS/SVN, MS Office, Large-scale enterprise web application development.
Highly Desirable Skills:  

JSF, Java, UNIX, Photoshop, Extreme Programming, Visio, Apache and Apache Tomcat web servers, Automated Testing Applications (Selenium preferred).


EDUCATION REQUIRED:
College degree or equivalent work experience preferred. 
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
