Java Developer / Programmer

We are currently looking for a Java Developer / Programmer to join our IT team. For a professional who thrives on challenge and seeking a Java Developer / Programmer position, this might be the rewarding career move you have been looking for.
This is a full time position with openings in Alpharetta, GA and California. 

Job Summary:
The Java Developer will assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web based applications to further the company’s product development goals.
•	CODING:   
o	70% front end working with JSP, Servlets, and struts framework 
o	15% backend- EJB- using Hibernate –
	Programming to create web based application, 
	Web interfaces for provisioning, support, 
	Reporting will write queries to pull data from Oracle 8.x/9i/10g, SQL server 7.x/2000 15% middleware-XML, writing interfaces 
•	DESIGN / ANALYSIS / PROBLEM SOLVING: 
o	Come up with ideas if there is another / creative way to get things done
•	DOCUMENTATION: 
o	Document policies and procedures of changes made
•	TEAM PLAYER / TEAM INTERFACE: 
o	Will work in a team environment
o	Will work with other developers, QA, and production
o	They will share different development parts of the project
o	Use SCRUM / Agile development methodologies 

Skills / Requirements:
•	5+ years experience in server side Java development in a Unix/Linux environment
•	Knowledge of: Java1.5,  Servletts, JSP
•	Self-motivated professional providing creative solutions, working constructively as a team member or independently with excellent problem-solving and communication skills 
•	Experience with Java 1.5, J2EE, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, JSF, Struts 2, Tiles, Spring Framework, Hibernate, XML, JUnit, Ant, SOAP, Web Services, SOA concepts, EJB
•	Experience with Eclipse java development IDE and excellent debugging skills
•	Experience with Apache Tomcat 5.x web server
•	Experience with Oracle 8.x/9i/10g, SQL Server 7.x/2000
•	Experience with SQL tools and ability to write complex queries
•	Some experience with design and analysis 
•	Experience with Middleware-XML
•	Experience with Telecommunications and VoIP industry a plus.
•	Team player
