At Daugherty, the JAVA J2EE Software Engineer develops requirements and design specifications, translating specifications to program code or database design. 

The JAVA J2EE Software Engineer possesses a minimum of: 

4+ years work experience in developing JAVA applications 
1+ years of experience in the design and development of large enterprise class projects 
Solid understanding of J2EE architecture and Design Patterns 
Experience with advanced OOA/OOD techniques to design enterprise applications 
Experience with current versions of WebSphere or WebLogic Application Servers 
Experience with XML-related technologies including XSLT and SOAP 
Knowledge in open source technologies is a plus (Hibernate, Spring, etc)
