Software Engineer - 6 months contract.  No H1B candidates please.  
The Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, implements and web applications and components.  The Software Engineer works directly with the technical lead on deliverables such as design docs, unit tests, and code reviews. Other responsibilities include participation in the creation, interpretation and implementation of the company’s specific business needs, requirements and specifications.  The Software Engineer is a knowledgeable of one or more technologies and is capable of providing some guidance to less experienced engineers.

Job Responsibilities
-	Work in a team environment while keeping a clear SDLC in mind
-	Create design artifacts documenting system changes based on customer requirements
-	Create both written and UML design artifacts 
-	Implement designs in compliance with coding standards and guidelines
-	Implement unit tests against delivered code
-	Position reports to Manager of the Entertainment Team

Required Technical Skills

-	J2EE design and development expertise
-	Some Java framework experience: Spring MVC, Struts 2, Hibernate 
-	Web technologies/standards: JSP / Servlets, HTML, XML, HTTP
-	SQL expertise
-	Experience with some formal SDLC

Preferred Technical Skills
-	Working knowledge of jUnit test creation and execution
-	Working knowledge of implementing logging frameworks such as Log4J
-	Working knowledge of scripting tools such as Ant, Maven
-	Working knowledge of BEA Weblogic and JBoss AS
-	Working knowledge of source control products: CVS or Subversion
-	Experience with development tools: Toad, SQLDeveloper
-	Experience with IDEs:  Eclipse, NetBeans, and/or Idea
-	Understanding Application Servers & Web Servers. Clustering fundamentals.
-	Working knowledge with UNIX or Linux
-	Experience in Agile SDLC environment
