My client has an immediate need for a Lead J2EE Engineer for a permanent position. They are a multi-billion dollar leader in the technology industry currently developing new commercial applications. This is a chance to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the business on an exciting new project.

The purpose of this position is to develop software code in support of the company's operational information systems. You will provide technical direction and mentoring to programmers and software engineers in the utilization of key coding languages.

Applications will be written in Java/J2EE in a Unix environment with Oracle database. Key skills needed include:
Java/J2EE design, coding, testing
Unix (Solaris 10 preferable) basic scripting experience
Oracle database basic table design; tuning experience
Struts
EJB
Object-oriented programming
Good communication skills
