•	Architect, analyze, design, implement and maintain high-quality IT solutions
•	Write documentation as and when necessary
•	Follow, create and improve development processes
•	Provide technical and project leadership
•	Participate in design/code reviews
•	Acquire requirements
•	Acquire and master new technical skills


Job Restrictions:
----------------

REQUIRED 
•	8+ years of experience in software development
•	Strong object oriented analysis and design (OOAD)
•	Solid Java/J2EE knowledge
•	Good understanding of GoF design patterns
•	Experience with Java database connectivity and SQL 
•	Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML – class and sequence diagrams)
•	Requirements gathering skills/working with users/customers

DESIRABLE 
•	Exposure to agile methods such as SCRUM or XP
•	IoC frameworks (such as Spring) 
•	Experience with an object/relational persistence (such as Hibernate) 
•	Experience with Web Services, SOAP, WSDL
•	Eclipse, ANT, TOAD, JMS
•	Worked with open source libraries and tools such as ANT, Eclipse, Apache Commons
•	Experience with XML/XSD 
•	Unit testing with JUnit/TestNG/mock objects 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
•	Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent experience
