Our client is a major payment processing company in search of a talented Java Developer for a full time position. This is a great opportunity to join one of Atlanta’s top IT companies. This is an excellent position for someone who is highly technical, enjoys problem solving, is a team player with a laid back personality who is very self motivated. 

Responsibilities: Develop and implement software enhancements with minimal supervision. Resolve problems within assigned applications with minimal supervision. Develop and execute until test plans and verify all test results. Provide 7/24 on-call support when scheduled and problem resolution for the application. 

Technical Requirements: Java programming, J2EE, Portal (any JSR 168 compliant model), Hibernate, Spring, Eclipse, Oracle, iBATIS. 

Qualifications: 4 year college degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years in developing applications using Java/J2EE and Struts/Spring/Hibernate/Portal. Continuing education attitude to remain up-to-date on changing technologies. Ability to follow all company policies and procedures as well as internal departmental procedures to ensure consistency. Ability to investigate and assess issues to make certain the correct solution is implemented. Excellent communications and writing skills to deliver technical information clearly to both users and technical people. Willingness to take ownership of work to continuously improve performance.
