IMMEDIATE NEED! 
3 month contract then perm hire
Responsibilities:
·	Research & Development
o	Implement java based front end solution for web store solution. This includes managing the entire development cycle including needs analysis, design, programming, testing and documentation. 
o	Work with RPG programmers to align RPG based APIs to support existing and new web store features and functionality. 
o	Work with other departments to analyze, enhance or improve their operations where ever IT can make an impact. 
o	Document current application designs, processes and planned changes and enhancements.
·	Operations & Support
o	Responsible for systems availability, documentation, software and hardware hot fixes and patches, upgrades and testing. Work with management and the team to coordinate and implement upgrades and testing. 
o	Perform system monitoring, job monitoring and schedule maintenance in order to ensure the integrity of Java applications.
o	Develop, test and implement code and revisions in support of new Client implementations and current Client support. 
Performs capacity, job and systems analysis to recommend performance enhancements. Troubleshoot system or procedural bottlenecks and recommend or code the solution.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Extensive experience in an open source environment, integration of Java with non-Java based platforms and applications.
· Must have Database experience with DB2, Oracle or SQL Server.
· Strong written and verbal communications skills.
· 5 - 7  years experience with full software life cycle development
· Extensive Java application development and admin skills. 
· J2EE, Struts Architecture, XML, JSP’s, EJB’s, CSS, HTML, Javascript, WSDL, SOAP, 
Java Servlets, WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
