Job Description
This position presents the opportunity to shape the future of the product line. Successful candidate will work directly in the design and develop of products and work very closely with the engineering team to ensure final solutions meet market demands. This person will work as a key member of an engineering team and be involved in all aspects of designing, developing, releasing and supporting enterprise software products. Significant experience required in object oriented design, java development and J2EE UI development. The ability to quickly assimilate technologies and code is essential.
Required Skills
5+ years of software development experience, preferably in Java 
C/C++ is a strong Plus Skill
Team Lead Experience is a Plus
3+ years experience in designing and implementing web based user interfaces in HTML, Javascript, CSS, JSP, and servlets. 
Strong UI design skills (layout, flow, usability) 
Expertise in object oriented design and implementation 
Very strong Java language and Java platform skills 
Thorough understanding of 3-tier web applications and detailed knowledge of at least two application or portal servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, tomcat, etc.) 
Experience with at least one J2EE application framework (Struts, JSF, etc.) 
Experience with XML, HTTP, and TCP/IP. 
Familiarity with network and remote programming (sockets, RPC, RMI, SOAP) 
Experience in a complete product life cycle, demonstrating understanding of every group's role, and the importance of communication to cross functional groups in both Engineering and Product Management/Marketing 
Customer focused, work well in a collaborative team oriented environment 
Must be autonomous, highly committed, flexible, and productive
Relevant Background
BS Degree, MS desired 
Understanding of security protocols like OpenSSL and SSO solutions (LDAP, ADS, Netegrity, etc)
Successfully shipped at least one large-scale, enterprise class product
