Our client is looking for a Java / Spring Developer for an opportunity in the Atlanta (Perimeter) Area. This is a three month contract to perm opportunity. 

Major Responsibilities: 

The Web/E-commerce Developer is responsible for writing application code that supports the implementation, operation, maintenance, and continuing technical improvements to the Company's public web site, public e-mail campaigns, and other systems that support Allconnects online presence. Specific duties include: 

Translate product requirements into a web or e-commerce application to best support Company's initiatives 
Deliver projects and change requests on time, within budget, and within specification 
Implement and integrate the CMS, AMS, and Web Analytics solutions 
Research and recommend innovative uses of technology that add value to the site and are consistent with our strategy 
Implement the overall web strategy for any Online product as determined by the Web Architect and VP of IT 

Required Competencies: 

Extensive web and e-commerce development experience 
Excellent Java (back-end primarily), Object-Oriented Design, and Relational Database skills 
Prior experience with Spring MVC web framework is a strong plus, but mastery of Struts or other MVC framework is acceptable. 
DHTML, JavaScript (browser DOM manipulation) is preferred. Experience with a JavaScript framework (Prototype, Dojo) is a strong plus. 
Excellent communication skills 
Ability to strike the necessary balance between a sense of urgency and the benefits of process orientation. 
Ability to align technology priorities with business imperatives 
Proven team player 

Qualifications: 

B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree 
4+ years professional information technology development experience 
1+ year of Spring experience 
3+ years of Java experience 
2+ years JSP, Javascript, CSS, HTML experience 
1+ year of application server (JBoss, tomcat, Weblogic, etc.) and web sever (Apache) experience
