StatCom, a rapidly growing Patient Flow Logistics software company with headquarters in Alpharetta, has an an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Senior Level Java Engineer. This key position requires a minimum of eight years demonstrated success and expert knowledge of the latest design and system-level development of Java technologies using multithreading, socket programming, complex n-tier applications, and object-oriented design. 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Able to quickly understand and decompose existing comprehensive applications and underlying architecture

Experienced making ongoing recommendations and implementing changes/improvements to support the product strategy, growth, and scalability

Sound knowledge of design patterns, security, and encryption

Proven experience integrating and developing common, reusable components across distributed applications

Expertise in multitier and high availability applications

Strong prototyping and application development skills

J2EE experience beyond EJB is required

Solid Oracle experience highly desired
 
RDBMS experience required
