We have an immediate need for a Java/J2EE Web Developer to work on a variety of projects primarily involved with web application development including database/optimization. Incumbent will work with E-Commerce Manager as well as end users to design online applications that are friendly to use; overall navigation flow, layout and possibly the creation of individual graphic elements will be involved. Position will be 50% new development and 50% application support. 

Primary responsibilities include:
Design and maintenance of all web applications developed internally.
Ensure all design elements and pages work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design.
Work with outside development teams on application design and testing.
Participate in efforts to improve quality of web applications and other electronic publications.
Partner with marketing staff to support public web site design and/or maintenance.

Required Skills
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education and experience in the business information technology field.
3+ years experience with Java/J2EE development and Microsoft SQL Server.
3+ years HTML experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate complex problems.
