Full software development life-cycle. Excellent Architect opportunity or for Lead Developer to step into Application Architecture role. Work with a new client business unit in the design of customer-facing webbased order management and fulfillment applications in the consumer financial industry.
The Developer will serve as a technical team lead for internet application design and provide oversight, review and problem-solving for other developers. Lead design, support & lead development, code for web applications. Work on user interface and/or services layer design. Support code migration to production and QA process. Work with growing team and project management to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for business growth. Support successful delivery. Support client relationship development.

Responsibilities:
Architect and Design J2EE applications. SOA design and implementation. OO Design Patterns.
Implement pre-designed XML web services. Schema validation and data validation. UML modeling.
ESB layer implementation.
Update SW and tools to latest versions and migrate core application. Agile development.
Technical mentoring and problem solving. Code review. Communicate network elements and devices
through TCP/IP. Configuration management – VSS.
Requirements:
Requires knowledge and experience with web application design, web services, SOA, Java, J2EE, Struts, JSB, Tomcat, WebSphere, Common Design Patterns, Hibernate, Eclipse, JDK, JDB, Axis, Log4J, Servlet, JSP, JSTL, junit, SOAP, WSDL, XML, XMLBeans. WS-Security/Policy, Schema, Mule, Tiles, application front-end and back-end. Multi-tiered architecture. DB2. Linux Environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams and external contractors. Lead and mentor client team members. Direct contact with senior IT executives in the client organization and with company.
Additional Qualifications:
1. Strong work ethic. Overtime may be required.
2. Strong interpersonal and English communication skills.
3. Minimum four year college degree or equivalent.
4. Experience as a consultant or working with consultants preferred.
