We have an immediate need for a talented, experienced Java/J2EE Web Developer to work on a variety of projects primarily involved with web application development including database/optimization.  Web Developer will work with E-Commerce Manager as well as end users to design online applications that are friendly to use; overall navigation flow, layout and possibly the creation of individual graphic elements will be involved.  Position will be 50% new development and 50% application support. 
 
Primary responsibilities include: 
	Design and maintenance of all web applications developed internally.
	Ensure all design elements and pages work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design.

Education /Experience:
	Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education and experience in the business information technology field.
	3+ years experience with Java/J2EE development and Microsoft SQL Server.
	3+ years HTML experience.
	Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate complex problems.
	Property and Casualty Insurance, specifically Workers' Compensation experience preferred.
