This position will require a person with seasoned experience in Java and Web development, able to design and build components for reuse, and the ability to mentor junior programmers in their growth. The position will require frequent interaction with customers for development of requirements, the ability to diagnose and run existing systems and to operate small projects with a minimum of supervision. The position requires the maintenance of standard development and deployment techniques to enable rapid delivery of projects. 

• 4+ years Java J2EE web development, 6+ years software development 
• Java development with n-tier enterprise infrastructure integration, i.e. authorization services, multiple integration backend APIs, messaging, web services exposure/consumption 
• Internet development using JSP, TagLibs, Java, JDBC, JUnit and SQL. Preferably some experience with Spring or Hibernate. Experience with Flash is a big plus. 
• Knowledge of Agile Development processes – e.g. incremental development, continuous integration, short iterations, evolving requirements. Preferably experience with one or more Agile methods. 
• Unix development environment – Solaris or Linux and CVS. Preferably experience with CVS, Ant, Maven.
