Qualifications: Preferred Technical Skills:
- Six plus years in application development and maintenance Oracle, Java, J2EE
-Skilled at developing queries using SQL against various databases systems such as Oracle and ROLAP or OLAP technologies.
-Proficiency with Unix based tools for file and data management, including strong shell and Perl scripting skills required.
-Sun/Linux computing array clusters (Grid Engine)
-Experience operating httpd web servers and their configuration files, access and error log files. Apache and Netscape/iPlanet/SunOne experience a plus.
-Familiarity with the http protocol and how web servers work with advanced integration technologies (cgi, javascript, java apps, ajax, video, flash).
-Strong knowledge of SQL, database query tools, basic database design concepts, and an understanding of physical and logical models of databases are required.
-Hands on experience with data modeling and table design along with an understanding of ER diagrams, data warehouse and OLAP technologies or methods.
-Knowledge of and experience with OLAP or data warehouse reporting tools Business Objects/MicroStrategy and other enterprise level business analytics.
Preferred/Optional skills:
-Statistical analysis knowledge preferred.
-Demonstrated analytical ability, strong knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling capability, and expertise in both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques (including surveys, usability testing and analysis, and focus groups).
-Experience optimizing SQL queries. History with statistics or predictive response modeling is a nice to have. Predictive Response Modeling-SPSS; SAS.

Educational Requirements:

Duties: Senior Web Analytics Developer
Reports to the Director of Business Intelligence Web Analytics.
Analysis, data capture, processing of data for analysis and measurement models and developing new web/digital media measurement tools and reports.
Summary of responsibilities:
-Developing, maintaining and utilizing tools to track, measure, and report website measurements (webpage, audio, video and other forms of digital media).
-Experience in leading the implementation of industry leading web analytics solutions (Omniture, WebTrends, Fireclick, WebSideStory etc.)
-Development of ad hoc reporting on website and business metrics.
-Assist in integrating the WebAnalytics data into the CRM Datawarehouse.
-Tracks and analyzes site usage trends using: Internet log file analysis tools, search engine indexing, online customer surveys, and customer data from Webmaster and call center inquiries.
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business stakeholders and IT partners.
-Understand the business objectives of internal customers, and turn business questions into actionable solutions.
-Provide reporting, data and analytical support to internal business teams.
-Specifying measurement requirements for current and future projects by conducting analysis and research.
-Assisting users in accessing and interpreting data and providing reports that support their business needs.
- Interfacing with technical teams, as needed, to test and implement code changes.
-Maintains expert professional knowledge of current research and technology in the broad fields of Web performance and user assessment policy and techniques, customer relationship management, business process improvement, benchmarking and best practices, information technology life cycle, Web site information architecture, and strategic planning.
Must possess:
-Experience structuring and conducting complex analysis.
-Ability to synthesize large volumes of complex information and present it to senior management in a clear, concise and compelling manner.
-Ability to independently manage multiple projects.
-Ability to interface with systems professionals in order to develop/refine decision support systems and ensure data integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills, as well as public speaking and meeting management skills.
-Demonstrated skill using Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
-Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience using SQL to extract data from transactional (OLTP) databases.
-Advanced MS Excel skills and experience.
-Proven ability to both analyze business needs and translate those needs into technical solutions.
-Candidate must be enthusiastic and possess the ability to adapt quickly to changing project or work assignments.
-Minimum of five years of Data Warehouse Analytics or Web Analytics experience including, preferably web site data usability, traffic analysis, measurement and reporting. Minimum of three years data analysis and hands-on SQL development experience.
