SolTech has been asked to identify a very high quality stand-out candidate for a fabulous position with one of our clients.

Our client is a world-famous service provider with a reputation for growth, stability, excellence—they are the leader in their business vertical. Technologically, the company has done a good job of moving through the classic migration path typical of corporate giants, and the state of the art includes typical Blue-centric Web solutions with a ton of current apps running J2EE. Additionally, at the edge of the company’s technologies, there are very spiffy new additions leveraging J2EE and Open Source and also .Net-based initiatives.

The idea incubator and the corporate software R&D group, located in Gwinnett, is the group that addresses business issue & opportunities with new technologies. This group is the go-to for new solutions in latest technologies and for the reengineering and improvement of existing systems. The Director of the R&D Center is looking for a Web Application Development Manager who will provide task and team management over some of these development tasks.

We are looking for a technically savvy person who knows J2EE and/or .Net down to the hands-on code level. The assumption is that this person was or still is a Developer using latest/greatest technologies. The successful candidate will have task and team management experience and be a source of expertise in Project Management and Development Methodologies and Tools. Experience needs to include specific wins as a manager over software development teams. And, the best candidate will bring a consultative presence to the table—Big 4 experience is ideal.

We are seeking:

•	Degree (required; Advanced Degree prfd)
•	6+ years Software Development Experience in J2EE and/or .Net
•	Experience must include current Task & Team Management and also code-level expertise in J2EE/Open Source and/or .Net
•	Consulting Presence—Prefer Big 4 background
