ChoicePoint WorkPlace Solutions (WPS) Group is investing in a new integration initiatives for use in future products.  This infrastructure will be built to support standard web services and XML based interfaces between ChoicePoint and its business partners.  The platform will utilize key components of the J2EE infrastructure, built atop the JBoss application server platform. As one of the leading background screening company in the nation, ChoicePoint WPS works with enormous data volumes, while still striving to provide customers with acceptable performance and response times. 

 
Responsibilities: 

Candidate will be responsible for integration and front-end development work between ChoicePoint WPS systems and client ATS/HRMS systems.  The candidate will lead projects from a technical standpoint and mentor others in the areas of Java, XML, Web Services, and PL/SQL.  The candidate must also have hands on experience in backend technologies. The person will work with Technical Analysts to define requirements specifications and then translate these specifications into technical design spec and solution.  Specifications written by this individual may be given to more junior level programmers, but this is a hands-on development role.  

Knowledge and Skills:

Must have: 
- Excellent communication skills. 
-At least 5 yrs. hands on experience with Struts, EJB.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java at any level, preferably at the J2EE level. 
- Exposure to the MVC/Struts framework in Java. 
- Experience with web services and/or XML in general. 
- Experience with PL/SQL, strong SQL, and Oracle. 
- Experience with JDBC and connection pools. 
- Full life-cycle experience 
- Demonstrated successful background in learning new skills and projects quickly. 
- System to System integration background 
- Must have experience in a high volume transaction environment.

Nice-to-have's: 
- Apache, Tomcat or JBoss Application Server experience
- Exposure to legacy integration tools like Jacada or WRQ Verastream. 
- Experience with Applicant Tracking or HRMS systems such as PeopleSoft 
- Background in integration 
- Network/firewall troubleshooting experience
