SUMMARY OF POSITION: The candidate will be responsible for development of the residential Identity Management Application.  Job duties include designing J2EE applications, integrating with vendor software, working with a team of skilled J2EE developers, implementing and enforcing coding guidelines and general coordination of development with other development teams. 
  
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 
1. Work with Manager to design, implement, test and package enhancements to production web site.
2. Integrate existing applications with a centralized authentication framework.
3. Develop Servlets, JSP’s, and other components according to specifications. 
4. Develop web pages utilizing HTML, CSS and Javascript.
5. Install, configure, and maintain J2EE Application servers and related applications. 
6. Develop project plans and meet schedules. 
7. Develop and execute functional, regression and load test plans 
8. Assist in testing and packaging of regular releases. 
9. Availability for production support
10. Occasional weekend work may be required


QUALIFICATIONS: 
1. Three or more years work experience. 
2. Two or more years Java/J2EE experience.
3. Three or more years HTML experience. 
4. Familiarity with working in Unix environments, preferably Solaris. 
5. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of common Design Patterns. 
6. Must have experience supporting production code. 
7. Experience writing Servlets and JSPs.
8. Experience working with Jakarta products such as Ant and Log4j. 
9. Experience working with the Jakarta Struts framework.
10. Ability to configure and integrate custom applications with 3rd-party software components 
11. Excellent communication and people skills required. 
12. Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required. 
13. Experience with CA Siteminder is a plus.
