Basic Purpose:

To energize build/install architecture for the delivery of several highly-related products, allowing them to be:

    * Built in a repeatable fashion,
    * Deployed with minimal disruption to customer systems, and
    * Tailored to the each product*s distinct objectives



Major Responsibilities:

    * Interact with several agile teams to deliver high-quality software products to customers using the Windows Installer (MSI) architecture.
    * Improve the build, install, and fix architecture to allow product teams to release products which share components more autonomously.
    * Provide infrastructure and guidance for Continuous Integration (repetitive software builds) to operate smoothly.
    * Analyze and resolve technology-related interactions between products, both internal and external.
    * Evaluate and recommend new technology options and practices for deploying products.
    * Work with QA and Customer Support to answer inquiries and resolve problems.


Requirements

    * BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
    * Thorough knowledge of the Windows Installer (MSI) architecture.
    * Practical Experience with InstallShield or WISE
    * Demonstrable knowledge of C/C++ Programming
    * Should understand the effect that COM and .NET objects have on the Windows registry, and how software installers deal with this
    * Knowledge of scripting languages and/or HTML a plus
