Software Development Manager: Grade “A” Opportunity

SolTech is a software development company delivering Web-enabled solutions in .Net and Java to the local Atlanta marketplace. We do custom software development in our Buckhead offices and we also provide our development services on site at local Atlanta clients.

Responding to continued growth, we are adding to our Buckhead-based development staff. We need an absolutely outstanding Software Development Manager. This critical position will function in the areas of: Task Management, Technical Resource, and Database Design. Your role will be very much focused on Project Management—you will be key in driving process and development in our in-house shop. You will serve as a go-to resource and be able to provide technical leadership as a result of your own achievements in hands-on .Net and/or J2EE development experience. You will also serve as a technical resource in matters of database design based on your hands-on experience in software development inclusive of database (SQL-Server preferred) and your strong knowledge of database architecture/logical level design.

This position offers huge visibility, great variety, key responsibility, and just plain fun. You get to be a leader and a go to resource working with talented and enthused developers on first class projects in a terrific environment.

We are looking for:

•	Degree (Required)
•	Certifications (Microsoft or Sun) strongly preferred
•	Several years of Full Life Cycle Development with high achievements in a solo or small team environment. History of delivery of high quality Web-enabled solutions, especially in a client facing/driven role. Technology must include .Net and/or J2EE
•	Current leadership responsibility
•	Strong Methodology background in Software Development and Project Management
•	Specific expertise in Database Development/Architecture/Design. SQL-Server preferred
•	Absolutely impressive Interpersonal/Client-Facing/Communication Skills
