Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Developer to develop complex, enterprise-class web sites and web applications.  A self-starter who can work individually or as part of a team.  Consult effectively with clients at the Developer and Architect levels.
•	Responsible for translating business and functional requirements into code.  Ability to extend technology specifications and help fill gaps in details.  Expected to work with potential unknowns and new technologies.  Must effectively be able to unit tested and integrated code.  Provide feedback throughout the development process to ensure code is developed to specification.

•	Integrate application code with middleware and database components. 

•	Assist technical Architects with preparing technical and middleware architecture deliverables in accordance with standards and methodologies. 

Qualifications:
•	Must have 3 to 5 years of object oriented design & programming using J2EE technologies within multi-tiered web architectures using web services and XML.

•	Must have experience designing and developing web applications such as e-commerce, transactional systems, content management systems or enterprise portals based on web services, XML and J2EE technologies.  

•	Must have server-side J2EE programming experience and knowledge of Java programming best practices. Experience with J2EE programming frameworks and pattern implementations (Struts, JSF, Spring, etc).  Experience using J2EE development tools (Eclipse, RAD, etc).

•	Must have experience developing on one or more J2EE application servers: ATG Dynamo, IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogic or JBoss

•	Experience integrating with middleware such as MQ Series is a big plus.  Experience with JSP, DHTML, AJAX, Object Oriented Flash is a plus.

•	Experience designing and developing ATG web sites and web applications is a big plus.  Experience designing and developing ATG Commerce and ATG Content Administrator web sites and web applications is a big plus.

•	Experience with other major e-commerce packages such as WebSphere Commerce and Blue Martini is a plus.

•	Experienced in design methodologies (OOA/OOD/OOP, RUP or UML).  Well versed with design and integration patterns. 

•	Ability to design and code routines to access relational and object databases. Experience with SQL stored procedures, views, indexes, and triggers.  Experience with Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server.

•	Good communication and client consulting skills including oral presentation, writing and documentation.  Must display a professional demeanor.

•	Experience with commercial Content Management System packages (Interwoven, Documentum, Vignette, etc) is a plus.

•	Experience with commercial Portal Software (ATG, Plumtree, IBM’s WebSphere Portal, etc) is a plus.

•	A B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or a related degree.

*travel is required 3-4 days per week.
