Java/J2EE Tech Lead: Opportunity for Impact

SolTech has been asked to staff a high visibility/high impact Java Lead position for one of our clients.

Our client is a hugely profitable fast growing technology driven industry leader. The company is headquartered in Downtown Atlanta. The great news is that these guys are crushing it commercially. They are doing literally Billions of Dollars of business. The other news that the company’s continued growth and success is linked to efforts to upgrade and expand the existing technical infrastructure and to increase the company’s agility in responding to the demands of explosive growth. There’s a ton of exciting work to be done!

This position provides hands-on development, technology resource, and team management. You will have the opportunity to function at the design/architecture level to help craft solutions and select technologies, and you’ll be a hands-on contributor in coding. You will also manage a small team of developers either directly or through project managers. You will, in the end, have the opportunity to have an immediate and significant impact on designing and building technology to meet our client’s business needs.

We are looking for a Java/J2EE Developer with a huge level of technical skill and an even bigger body of technical knowledge (including traditional J2EE and more current Open Source technologies.) We are looking for a sane methodology-driven IT professional with current lead responsibilities or super-evident lead potential. We are looking for a solid records of achievement as a solo or small team performer. And, we’re looking for evidence of the ability to commit to a company, a team, and a long term mission. We’re looking for an “A”.

We require:

•	Degree; Sun Certification preferred
•	4+ years J2EE Development including FLC Design through Implementation
•	Strength on all tiers
•	Current Lead Responsibility (or very apparent lead potential)
•	Stable Work History
•	Absolutely Outstanding Communication/Interpersonal Skills
