Position Purpose

In this role, the individual will be responsible for Documentum development. The Sr. Developer has proficient knowledge of multiple programming languages along with the ability to take business requirements and develop the total technical design for an entire application to be run in production. The Sr. Developer has the ability to lay out requirements for the project team. Ability to guide and direct work on multiple projects. Thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post implementation. The Sr. Developer has the ability to present at the various architecture review boards. Display strategic view of applications and how they fit into the whole retail space.

Preferred Qualifications


5-7 years related experience.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills. 

Experience with the following are required : Documentum (DFC, WDK, eRoom). 

Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: Apache Tomcat, BEA WebLogic, AIX UNIX, Windows OS, J2EE, SQL, XML, ClearCase, ClearQuest, UML, LDAP. 

The candidate should also have strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with development teams, business analysts and end users.

Retail/business experience a plus.

Project leadership ability.

BS Computer Science or related field.

Knowledge of multiple programming languages, databases, life cycle methodologies.
