A Fortune 500 company is seeking a Senior level Java Developer to join our Bill payment and ePayments products development team. This position requires 20% travel.
• Looking to hire a Senior level Java Web Developer. Great opportunity for ambitious persons.
• 8+ years experience of analysis, design, development, and implementation
• 8+ of large scale OO applications using Java Language.
• 8+ years internet application development using JSP, Servlet, XML and JavaBeans.
• Very good experience with XML and SAX/DOM Parsers.
• Experience with MVC (Model-View-Controller)Architecture and Struts Framework.
• Excellent component development experience with JavaBeans/EJB.
• Excellent skills with Apache/Tomcat Web server
• 4+ years of hands on SQL with a SQL Server database/other RDBMS.
• Experience with middle tier development using C++ Knowledge of web protocols and languages, e.g., HTTP, XML, HTML, JavaScript.
• Hands on experience with major web servers, application servers or transaction processing.
• Experience with Ant, Tomcat, and other open source technologies are preferred.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills a must.
• S/MS in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience.

Design, build, document and test Java web based Bill Pay applications. Work within team of Java developers. Design, build and test middle tier transaction server in C++ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Support and help debug Production deployment infrastructure. Work with architects and UI designers to assure product quality. Employ existing processes and tools for improving efficiency of Java development. Develop a highly scalable, distributed, compute intensive system. Participate in design and code reviews. Identify design and architecture problems associated with implementation. Document and test necessary product features and APIs. Mentor junior developers.
