We are looking for a full time person to join the McCamish team! The knowledge of Progress/Open Edge Programming language is essential. We offer great benefits, competetive pay and fun working environment. The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of recent progress support in a testing or development role. This person develops and maintains computer software systems for the company. This person also performs technical analysis, develops technical specifications for project tasks and works with little supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

Develops and unit tests code, based on business requirements 
Performs technical analysis, prepares technical specifications, coordinates development plans and uses various disciplines to achieve assigned goals 
Monitors project schedules, notifies team manager/lead of any potential task variations regarding time allocations and budget concerns 



Job Restrictions:

Education/Experience Requirements: 

Degree in computer science, information systems, business management or related field preferred 
Five to seven years of client server software development experience in an UNIX, Linux or Windows environment 
Three to five years of experience in a 4GL environment, Progress® preferred 
Knowledge of insurance, annuity or mutual funds industries
