OVERVIEW

IMMEDIATE exciting opportunity to be a hands-on Java developer on a medium 
sized team of J2EE developers working on a very visible project at the 
Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The Java/J2EE developer will provide 
development, maintenance and support services on a large public health 
project. This is a permanent position with Computer Sciences Corp (CSC).

Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US. 

CSC is not offering relocation assistance or Visa sponsorship for this 
position. Applicant must reside in the Atlanta metro area. Remote work is 
not desired. 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 2 years working with Java/J2EE, XML, Struts, JSTL, Javascript
- Strong Object Oriented design skills
- Experience using the Java programming language to build complex software 
systems. 
- Strong knowledge and experience with SQL, SQL Server, MS Stored 
Procedures, Hibernate DOM 4J, 
- Knowledge of Rational Rose, HTML, Visual Basic, SAS and ReadSoft 
preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and 
articulate complex ideas/concepts in verbal and written form.
