We are currently seeking a Software Engineer with the following background and experience:
Requirements:
Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related discipline
5+ years work experience in developing Java applications
2+ years of experience in the design and development of large scale enterprise systems
Proficient in Web-related technologies such as AJAX, JavaScript, HTML/CSS2, DHTML, XML/XSL
Experience applying advanced OOA/OOD techniques utilizing UML and design patterns
Experience with current versions of J2EE Application Servers with solid understand of J2EE architecture
Experience with the RUP and Agile development methodologies
Knowledge of open source technologies such as Hibernate, Tomcat, Spring, Struts, ANT, JUnit, etc.

ABILITIES/SKILLS:
The ideal candidate should have a passion for software development with the ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.  The candidate will have the ability to meet directly with high-ranking user representatives and project officers to collect system requirements, analyze them, translate specifications to program code or database design, then implement the designs. 

The successful candidate will be able to work largely on his/her own and perform all tasks of the entire development lifecycle, from analysis all the way through deployment.  He/She may also assist with the scheduling and other coordination activities of the project.  The successful candidate will also demonstrate solid communication skills with both internal employees/management and client resources.
This position is based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

On a day-to-day basis our employees say that they like the interesting work we do and being part of projects that make a difference. Just about every week there's an article in the newspaper about a criminal being apprehended and although we're rarely mentioned we know our software helped make that happen. Our software helps catch violent criminals, child pornographers and aid in negotiation of hostage situations.
