This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior webMethods Developer who is interested in playing a lead role in developing the webMethods infrastructure for Choicepoint.

Responsibilities  
 
This individual will be a member of a product development team and responsible for requirement analysis, system analysis and design, development, implementation and maintenance of various business and technical applications on the webMethods/Oracle platform. 

Responsibilities include: 
- Analyze business requirements and develop system  requirement specifications. 
- Convert business and system requirements into detailed system design and technical specifications. 
- Create work effort estimates that will be used to present to the customer and will be the primary input to project schedule work breakdowns. 
- Convert system designs and technical specifications into program code. 
- Analyze and troubleshoot existing program code and correct errors as required. 
- Create and maintain user, technical and operational documentation that describes program code, logic, changes and corrections. 
- Provide technical support to end-users and other support groups. 
- Provide performance and production run monitoring for applications assigned after implementation. 
- Mentor junior-level associates.  

 Knowledge and Skills  

- At least 7 years development experience of which 4 years dedicated to using webMethods products including Integration Server, Developer, Modeler, Broker, Workflow, Optimizer, BAM Server, Process Server and JDBC Adapter. 
- Current webMethods 6.5/7.0 application development experience. 
- Experience in Service Oriented Architecture technologies (e.g., SOAP, XML, WS (web services)). 
- Exposure to Java IDE's. 
- Good understanding of complex SQL and using relational databases is required (specific work with Oracle, MySQL is a plus). 
- Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems.

This results-oriented individual must possess good communication skills, verbal and written. This individual must be flexible, adaptable, and have the ability to handle multiple priorities.  In addition, this individual must be able to mentor less experienced webMethods developers and be able to work independently and have an entrepreneurial spirit. 

Education and Training: 

A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work related experience is required.  Java/webMethods certification and industry certifications are a definite plus.
