They are creating an entire new front end and the existing system is JAVA and JSP. Tomcat is on the existing system and Jboss for the new Portal

85 percent of the time you will be doing both front-end and back end Java development and xml is a must . The web development is JSP, Servlets, struts . CSS and xml .
and a having a good understanding of the beans for the back end .

15 percent of the time is doing C# which is not required they will teach you if you are willing to learn and work with it . Web services is a big plus .
