Job description: 
Our Client is looking for a Senior Java Developer

This Java Developer will be responsible for analyzing existing systems and processes, proposing and/or implementing necessary system modifications or enhancements, and will be able to document / diagram existing and proposed processes, determine solutions to technical problems, test applications and manage assigned resources to implement those solutions. Team leadership experience, strong analysis, and exceptional communication skills are required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors* degree or equivalent experience 
8+ years JAVA experience
Experience with client/server technology
Experience with relational databases
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure; must thrive in fast-paced environment with little structure
Strong people skills; must be team player willing to wear multiple hats
Creative problem solving

REQUIRED SKILLS:
*Object-Oriented Analysis/Design 
*Proficient Java skills 
*JBOSS
*SOAP (strongly preferred)
*XML
*Strong Web Client Development (HTML, JSPs, taglibs, Struts, EJBs) 
*Experience with a documentation software, such as VISIO 
*Knowledge of development methods and practices in a multi-platform environment 
*Strong analytical skills 
*Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff. 
*Ability to analyze business or system issues and provide solutions. 
*Ability to provide and consider alternative solutions. 
*Strong understanding of impact analysis and effective program change control. 
*Knowledge of development methods and practices in a multi-platform environment.
*Able to thrive in extremely fast-paced environment with flexible structure & methodologies
*Should be familiar with all of the following: JSP, XML, SQL, J2EE frameworks, Struts, Ant, and one or more Java Application Servers (Tomcat, Oracle 10gAS, etc.)
