Primary Responsibilities include: 

. This is a very hands-on, individual-contributor, leadership position, and will require working within a structured project management approach. Responsible for managing all technical aspects of the day-to-day software development requirements of the team to which assigned including codereviews 

. Responsible for contributing to a large, critical application 
. Perform on-going development and support of the data & reporting     software 
.Provide programming expertise in a JAVA environment 
. Provide programming expertise in optimization techniques and     algorithms 
. Provide mentorship to junior developers 
. Ensure coverage of support in assigned systems in a 24 X 7 environment 

Primary Qualifications include: 

. BA/BS in Computer Science, related degree, or comparable experience 
. 3 to 6 years of professional software development experience 
. Management experience of technical personnel is a plus 
. Strong programming skills in a JAVA environment 
. Solid understanding of OO programming concepts 
. Proven experience developing large, complex systems 
. Experience with optimization techniques and algorithms 
. Experience with high-volume, rapid transaction processing systems is
required 
. Strong interpersonal skills
