E-COMMERCE APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Full time opportunity located in Cumming, GA

Will be responsible for Java Software development and providing support for E-Commerce applications and business improvement applications. Will develop new features as well as enhancements to existing features for E-Commerce website. Additional responsibilities include problem diagnosis, feature design, implementation, testing and design/development of store support and non store related applications. Responsibilities also include development projects that will automate manual tasks and increase company efficiency.

This position requires a B.S. in Computer Science or related degree, a minimum of 2 years experience developing applications using Java and object oriented design methodologies, plus a minimum of 2 years experience with relational databases. Additional requirements include experience with Servlets and JSP, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, XML, and web-based graphical user interfaces.

Formal object oriented training and experience developing web applications and working knowledge of IBM DB2 and MS SQL Server Databases is preferred as well as experience with Linux, JRun application server and Apache web server.
