Sapphire Technologies is looking for a Sr. Software Developer in the Alpharetta, GA area. 
 
Responsibilities:

 

Assist in development/maintenance of software specifications utilizing design constructs and standards. 

Interact with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate these into technical designs. 

Interact with production support personnel to ensure that critical and major production issues are resolved in a timely manner. 

Provide technical support and take technical direction from project lead.

Perform design and code reviews with peers. 

Create and execute unit test plans. 

Respond to administrative direction from Manager. 

Participate in technical/professional training.

 

Knowledge/Skills:

            

-Self-motivated, detail oriented, able to multi-task, and highly responsive. 
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
-Strong communication skills. 
-4+ years java 
-4 + years C++ 
-2+ years EJB, XML 
-5+ years full life cycle development 

-2+ years designing and implementing Java applications 
-Experience with SQL and database 
-3 + yrs w/ OO development/design 
-4+ years UNIX and shell scripting 



Preferred Skills: 
BEA Weblogic or JBoss, Oracle 
JSP, JSTL, JMS, Junit, Java Script, HTML, Struts, Kaxb, JDK5, Eclipse, Jbuilder, 
UML,  Design Patterns, Perl

 

Must have mixture of C++ and Strong JAVA Developer
