Our client is a leading provider or automated data collection products and services for the utilities industries developed using cutting edge enterprise Java technologies.

The Customer Solutions Analyst will report to the Customer Solutions Manager and will be a subject matter expert in the area of Utility Systems solutions. This includes having a full understanding of this Enterprise Java system and being able to analyze, communicate and help the customer implement systems in a true business environment. The Customer Solutions Analyst will help ensure that new features and functionality developed will effectively meet the customer requirements. This is a great opportunity for a developer that wants to move away from coding and into a move client facing/client development role

Primary responsibilities include
Communicate solutions technical and business process implementation to Customers and assist with product/application implementation.
Provide technical support to the customer for systems integration and business process development. 
Articulate customer feedback in technical terms for the Software development team.
Analyze customer requests and classify issues enhancements and set appropriate customer priorities.
Work with software development and SQA to ensure that functional requirements are met.
Seek out and analyze the business requirement from the utility customers.
Support rollout of new product, functionality, assist with end-user communication, training and support during project implementation and support during transition period. 

Core Requirements: 
A Bachelor’s degree in Software or Computer or technical certification in a relevant field.
Ability to travel up to 25%
Conceptual knowledge and minimum 5 years relevant experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC). 
The individual should be self-motivated and result-oriented with a technical aptitude.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details. 
Good organizational skills and discipline are required.
Good interpersonal skills are required to interface with staff, vendors, and customers. 
Must be proficient in UNIX and script files. Proficiency in Sun Solaris OS is desirable.
Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience with designing and developing Oracle applications. 
PC Skills: Administrative and office applications operate in a Windows environment.
Must have good diagnostic skills and deductive reasoning for troubleshooting application anomalies. 
Strong System architecture design and management skills are required for this position.
