MDI, a leader in technology services, is currently hiring for a prominent client in downtown Atlanta.  This is a 3 to 6 month CONTRACT to PERM opportunity for a Java Developer with MDI’s fast paced, impactful organization who is seeking a self motivator to join their Company. The successful candidate has experience working in a high growth, fast paced environment. He/she seeks challenges and enjoys the opportunity to work in both a team environment as well as on an individual basis.  

In this role, you will analyze, design and implement Java/J2EE development projects, manage full life-cycle development using agile development methodologies, and perform analysis and design using OOA/OOD methodologies

Job Requirements:

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
3-4 years of experience in the Java/J2EE environment
Experience with procedures in providing Java/J2EE transaction processing systems
Enthusiasm and consistency in performance
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Creative problem solving skills, Strong analytical skills, Team oriented
Have at least 3-4 years in Java development
3-4 years experience of JBoss configuration, JMS, Hibernate, and EJB development; XML 
Experience with version control, build scripts and unit testing
3-4 years experience in client/server Web Services development and deployment
Experience in the telecommunications or retail industries is a plus
