Software Quality Engineer III

Calypso® Medical is looking for a Software Quality Engineer III to perform software quality assurance tasks, including development and conduct of software verification and validation tests.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to participating in the development of use cases and technical problem statements for product features; participating in software risk assessment activities; participating in the development and review of software requirement documents; participating in software design and code reviews; informal software release testing for compliance with requirements; designing, developing and documenting software V&V protocols; reviewing software V&V protocols for correctness and requirements coverage; performing formal software V&V activities and collect and document results; generating, validating and closing software change requests; performing regression analysis and testing of changes done during formal test; and configuring hardware and software for testing.

Minimum requirements include a degree in computer science or related engineering discipline or equivalent experience; working knowledge of XP and .NET configuration, operation and components; the ability to read and understand C# code; software test experience at both the black box and white box level; experience with SW User Interface testing; and experience generating and verifying SW problem reports.
