Software Quality Assurance Group Lead

Calypso® Medical is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Group Lead to provide technical leadership for a project team or teams performing SW quality assurance activities, including SW Verification and Validation for both product and production support software. This individual will also perform SW V&V activities in support of individual projects as required.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to participating in the establishment, maintenance and documentation of software quality assurance processes; providing technical leadership to assigned team with respect to software V&V methods, tools and techniques; generating SW V&V Plans as required to support assigned projects; establishing SW V&V tasks and schedule for assigned team’s projects; generating and maintaining task tracking data for assigned team’s projects; monitors and adjusts tasks and task assignments for assigned team throughout project duration as required to ensure timely completion; reviews and approves documentation supporting software, software development and software verification for assigned projects.  SW V&V responsibilities for assigned projects include but are not limited to participating in the development of use cases and technical problem statements for product features; participating in the development and review of software requirements documents; perform and document OTS software analyses; participating in software design and code reviews; monitoring the software development process for compliance with SOPs and project development plans; and reviewing SW V&V protocol requirements coverage.

Minimum requirements include a B.S. degree in computer science or related engineering discipline; minimum 7 years experience in software development or quality assurance, SQA experience on multiple software projects; experience developing software development and V&V processes and plans; experience in developing software V&V methodologies and protocols; experience with SW User Interface testing; experience with verification and validation, documentation, and hazard analysis practices for regulated products (FDA QSRs) and have medical applications experience as well as knowledge of development and regulatory standards.
