Software Development Engineer in Test - Infrastructure

Calypso® Medical is recruiting for a Software Development Engineer in Test - Infrastructure to design, implement, verify, and maintain tools for software test automation framework in support of software development, profiling / analysis, and a verification test suite.  This includes deploying, maintaining and administering software test automation systems developed internally and by 3rd vendors; participating in the specification of 3rd party tools to support SW Development processes; developing automated verification tests at the unit and integration levels; and developing, executing and documenting verification protocols and plans and test results. 


Minimum requirements include a B.S. in C.S. or related engineering / scientific discipline; 5 years supporting software tools deployment and test automation; a strong ability to understand and refactor code written in C#, or C++ and Java; a thorough understanding of software testing issues, tools, and techniques; 4+ years in SW development; experience with Test Automation Frameworks such as Visual Test, Mercury Interactive, Expect, Nunit; experience with static and dynamic analysis tools such as FxCop, Purify, and Vtune; experience developing frameworks for non-intrusive, interactive analysis and debugging of Windows applications; experience with scripting, web languages, and distribution architectures including two or more of the following: Windows Shell Script, Perl, JavaScript, VBScript, NAnt, HTML, XML; experience in drafting and executing formal verification plans and protocols; experience with multiple version control systems such as TFS, Source Depot, StarTeam, PVCS, RCS, or SCCS; demonstrable proficiency with Windows development tools; and experience creating custom solutions using vendor-supplied APIs.
