The candidate will be involved in the implementation, testing, and deployment of a new mission-critical application that is part of a suite of robust complex Internet applications and E-Business products. The application developed in Java. The company is a growing, energetic and dynamic organization. The environment is very casual. It is an environment that demands of all of its employees a high level personal creativity and innovation. The developers must be very efficient and productive. They must be able to work well independently. Candidates should have 3+ years of professional IT experience with developing Java applications 

Required: • Object Oriented language experience with a focus in Java • SQL and Database Architecture • Web Application Development • Web protocols and languages HTTP, XML, HTML, Javascript • UML or other tools required for utilization of RUP • UNIX based environments and shell programming • Experience developing large-scale hosted Internet applications • Hands on experience with major web servers, application servers or transaction processing • Internet communications tools and protocols (e.g., FTP Telnet, TCP/IP stacks) • Web server installation, configuration and operation 

Highly desired: 

• Experience developing HR, insurance, payroll or other benefits domain experience • Internet security, DHTML, AJAX • Experience with workflow products and systems • Experience with CVS, Ant, Tomcat, and other open source technologies • Familiarity with import/export and data mapping tools
