Our client’s growth has created a new SOA Integration Specialist opening. This person will serve as the technical liaison between enterprise architects, application developers, network and security architects, and infrastructure analysts. The role demands competence in a wide variety of IT skills and disciplines, and a high capacity to absorb and activate new concepts and technologies. This individual will serve as a technical resource on cross-functional teams charged with delivering our most complex systems. 

Responsibilities: ***Assist with projects integrating new and existing systems with databases, especially Web-based systems using Web services for integration: 
-Design architecture of the solution -Install and configure the solution -Write code to integrate the solution into our existing architecture. This may involve writing code in any number of programming languages (Java, PL/SQL, Perl, Kshell scripts, .Net, etc.) -Thoroughly document the solution and create Standard Operating Procedures for our Operations team -Assist in establishing appropriate monitoring, backup, and recovery procedures for the solution -Develop standards for developer usage of the solution and educate development teams -Create procedures for creating Development, Training, and Staging instances of the solution on a regular basis

***Assist with maintenance of our web architecture: 
-Apache HTTP servers -JBoss 4.x and Oracle 10gAS Application Server application servers -Sonic JMS servers -Reactivity XML gateways -Subversion -Oracle APEX -Oracle Virtual Directory and Internet Directory (OID) -Microsoft ADAM -Oracle Access Manager (formerly CoreID) -Oracle Identity Manager (formerly Xellerate) 
***Assist with data replication architecture: 
-iAnywhere Afaria -Business Objects Data Integrator ETL -Hummingbird Genio ETL 
***Support existing integrated enterprise applications 
***Maintain and contribute to shared common services comprising the enterprise service-oriented architecture (SOA) 
***Assist with creation and maintenance of our Development environment to support new and existing systems 
-Eclipse, TOAD, Exceed, Subversion, Ant scripts, etc. 
**The Integration Specialist will serve on a small, service-oriented team and may be called upon to serve in various ways, including: 
*Assist with upgrades to Oracle Applications *Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle Applications technology components, including Oracle Workflow, Forms Server and local Application Server *Assist with administration and management of various integration and middleware technologies 
Minimum Qualifications: *Required: Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or other technical field of study *Required: 2+ years work experience in a similar job role *Required: Development experience using Java *Required: Knowledge of common enterprise Web technologies, including HTML, JavaScript or VBScript, XML, SOAP, HTTP and ASP *Preferred: Experience with UNIX operating system *Preferred: Experience with Java application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, Oracle Application Server) *Preferred: Knowledge of TCP/IP networking *Preferred: Experience with LDAP *Preferred: Experience with Microsoft programming languages (.Net, C#, Visual C++) *Preferred: Experience with varied programming languages and technologies (Microsoft .Net, Java, Perl, Ant, Kshell, PHP, PL/SQL, TSQL, etc.) *Preferred: Familiarity with Oracle and MS SQL Server databases in any capacity 

Preferred Qualifications: *Good interpersonal skills: gets along well with others *Good written and oral communication skills *Shares knowledge readily and recognizes own need to learn *Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required *Strong sense of stewardship toward entrusted systems *Can manage a schedule and deal with issues early on *Can prioritize tasks perceptively, based on business needs *Attentive to details *Demonstrates motivation by exceeding expectations and seeing tasks to completion without excessive supervision *Responds well to pressures of deadlines and client expectations *Ability to multi-task and respond well to dynamically changing tasks and priorities *Can quickly learn new technologies, languages, features, etc.
