Client is a small, but progressive and fast growing software/services firm located in the Perimeter Center Area.  They serve the commercial property & casualty  insurance industry.  Their IT environment is JAVA, Oracle. DB2 and SQL Server following J2EE standards.  The IT organization currently consists of about 6 software engineers/developers.  Client is looking for a permanent, full-time person to lead the group and also be an individual technical contributor in the IT department as well as a technical and business contributor to the President and CEO. 
 
This position requires the technical skills listed above, but also includes handling customer calls.  Therefore, candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and supervisory skills.  Candidates must be creative, problem solvers and be able to "think quickly on their feet".  
 
Education is important to this client, so either a master's degree in an IT related field or a bachelor's degree with honors is a necessity.  This position will pay a very good market price for the right person and the company's benefits are excellent.  There is considerable growth potential for the right person.
