We are currently seeking a real code warrior who will enthusiastically attack the most challenging problems and develop simple and efficient software solutions. The Software Engineer II will be versed in a variety of enterprise software technologies and works effectively in both broad collaborative efforts and deep individual projects. 

Responsibilities include:

•           In-depth understanding and development experience in C/C++ and Java / J2SE
•           MySql database administration skills and ability to do data manipulation via 
ODBC/JDBC
•           Familiarity with backup software’s and backup process i.e.  NetBackup, 
BackupExec, EDM, Networker, HP DataProtector, etc.
•           Ability to setup, administer, and use Windows(2000, 2003, XP), Unix
(Solaris, FreeBSD), Linux (RedHat, Fedora Core) systems
•           Expertise with multi-threaded applications, established internet protocols    
(TCP/IP, HTTP), and socket programming
•           Debugging, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills
•           Estimation skills, including ability to decompose more complex development 
efforts into logical task plans 
•           Ability to think, reason, and work with little supervision
•           Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
•           Familiarity with Agile software development practices

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (Master’s preferred) along with 3+ years of commercial software development experience
