ACS Government Health Care is seeking candidates with experience in large scale government health care engagements. We offer the opportunity to work with state-of-the art web based technology and with other highly skilled professionals on projects that will change the way business is conducted and services are rendered. 

We are currently seeking a Senior J2EE Infrastructure Architect (Infrastructure and Application Deployment focused). 
This senior level will be responsible for leading, from an organizational perspective, the design, procurement and configuration of deployment/implementation environments of our J2EE based products in ACS data centers. This individual will provide architectural leadership and guidance to ACS vendors and operations team. The candidate will evaluate the entire proposed operating environment of the J2EE based products with respect to hardware, software and configurations and suggest modifications as needed. Candidate should be able and willing to “roll up their sleeves” and offer hands-on assistance as required in the project. 

Education and Typical Years of Experience: 
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience. 

The individual should have at least 8-12 years of I/T experience on a variety of platforms and technologies with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, installing and configuring operating environments (infrastructure) for large, scalable J2EE applications. 
Must have been a lead Infrastructure architect in at least 2 large-scale J2EE projects. 
Must be an expert on system administration of 2 of the following suite of IBM products – Portal Server, Process Server and Application Server. 

Must have strong experience in UNIX scripts and other deployment toolsets (e.g. BladeLogic) for application distribution 

Must have a strong understanding of deployment architectures and server configurations (h/w, s/w, load balancing and clustering for high availability and fail-over) for J2EE based projects. 
Must have strong experience in architecting monitoring solutions using products such as ITCAM or any other server monitoring tools 

Must have worked as an infrastructure architect in a datacenter for fortune-500 organizations. Should be familiar with the “best practices” within a data center with respect to hosting and operations 
Must have experience in installing and configuring external security products such as Tivoli Access Manager/Tivoli Identity Manager. 
Must have a “can do” attitude. 



Specific Requirements: 
Ideal candidates will have prior health-care, insurance and/or Public Sector related experience
