ACS Government Health Care is seeking candidates with experience in large scale government health care engagements. We offer the opportunity to work with state-of-the art web based technology and with other highly skilled professionals on projects that will change the way business is conducted and services are rendered. 

We are currently seeking a junior J2EE Architect/Senior J2EE developer. 
The Candidate will be responsible for working independently or assist other senior architects in the team on the design and development of J2EE-based products and the necessary deployment/implementation architecture for installation/operations. This individual will provide architectural guidance as required to ACS vendors and operations team. Candidate must demonstrate a strong technology competency in J2EE technology (preferably with WebSphere), Unix based operating environments and Oracle 9i (or above) database. Good communication skill is required for this position so that the candidate can clearly express his technical thoughts. 
Education and Typical Years of Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience. 

The individual should have at least 8-10 years of I/T experience on a variety of platforms and technologies with at least 5 years of hands-on developing N-Tier/SOA web-based business applications. 
Must have been a lead developer in at least 2 large-scale successful (implemented) J2EE projects. 
Professional experience with Java, Web-Services, EJB, Servlets, and Java Server Faces. 
Must be an expert on IBM Web Sphere Suite of products – Portal Server, Process Server and Application Server (2 out of the 3) – [Note: WebLogic experience can be substituted for WebSphere as long as the candidate can demonstrate strong J2EE application development experience] 

Must be an expert in delivering projects using RUP methodology using IBM’s Rational tool set Must have a strong understanding of deployment architectures (h/w, s/w, load balancing and clustering for high availability and fail-over) for J2EE based projects. 
Must have a “can do” attitude and a self-starter. 
Specific Requirements: 

Ideal candidates will have prior health-care, insurance and/or Public Sector related experience 
Experience in usage of rules engine (e.g. Fair Isaac) is a plus 
Experience with TIM/TAM is a plus
