The successful candidate will work as a member of the software development team focused on the GUI components of the product set. This team is responsible for designing, developing and unit testing features and components of the client’s products. The successful candidate will have a passion for building a highly-usable, presentable user interface, have a genuine interest in the end user experience, and be eager to learn state-of-the art web technology. 


Required Skills: 
• 3-4 years of software engineering experience in the web user interface field. 
• Strong programming skills with focus on Javascript, XML, XSLT, XPath. 
• Proficiency in hand coding clean HTML, preferably XHTML, to implement user interface layouts. 
• Hands-on experience in building web-based graphical user interfaces within the framework of AJAX. 
• Working knowledge of J2EE, SOAP, Java Servlets. 
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 

Desired Skills: 
• Working knowledge of CSS, with demonstrated understanding of separating presentation logic from UI look and feel. 
• Experience with MSXML API including DOM access, DHTML methods, DHTML events, and data binding. 
• Team player seeking visibility and growth 

Non-Tech Skills: 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced software engineering environment. 

Compensation is between $80K-95K depending on experience.
